Or lose 1 Wits permanently.

Thanks again for the input. Working on making the hazards conform to rhe revised format :)

And yeah...those frosty swords can be a temptation too great to resist... :D

They work just fine with the first edition of the rules. :)

Do they? I don't have the books in front of me, but I thought Hazards were always associated with a role, I.e. Scout, Guide, etc.

These go with roll 10, "All Companions."

Hi Guys,

At work so not chance to add any detail, but though these could be fun.
  • Avalanche
Easy to track (the tracks in the snow have made you easy to track, a predator now stalks you)
Lost trail (the snow has covered the trail making it near impossible to see)
Snow blindness (feeling of sand or grit in the eyes, tearing, temporary blindness)
Outh! That Really Hurths: - made me laugh my socks

Have a fun day,

Steve

Those are good! And I like Otaku's thin ice idea.

How about "White Out" (sort of like "Lost in Storm" from the OP, but Scout specific): between accumulating snow and low visibility, the Scout is unable to find his way back to the party. On a failed Explore test, gain Fatigue or lose Endurance or whatever.

Hey there,

I really like the "White Out" idea of possibly separating the scout from the rest of the company because of the storm :)
I'll see if I can use that one!

Tonight is the first session with the company setting out over the snow-clad plains of Wilderland, south east of Mirkwood and not far north of Strayhold. Really looking forward to trying out the concept of winter travels.
The borders of the region they are trying to leave is also patrolled by enemy soldiers, so it might end up quite intense...

Have a nice weekend 8-)
