One of my players yesterday made an interesting question: why can't i use more than one hope point at a time if i find myself in a troublesome situation?
What do you think about that?

Re: Relying on many hope points
Because the system isn't set up to allow that. It messes with several key system assumptions (making favored attributes worth quite a bit less, for example).
Even if allowed, it'd also almost always be a bad idea, since very rarely are multi-Hope expenditures being necessary gonna combine with a roll being worth enhancing in the first place (ie: usually, that's not combined with either a high Feat Die roll, or one or more 6s), making it a high price for little gain.
So it messes with system assumptions and almost certainly isn't worth it to add and rejigger the system, IMO.
