When we started out, AP were hard to come by. After getting back into the game again, though, I've really emphasized APs, helped by things like the 'Guide to Trait Usage' document. Last session I ended up with a bunch of players getting their third AP in a row, one player even getting two rows filled (all three APs checked). Now AP are more common than XP; I've even seen them at a 2 to 1 ratio!Angelalex242 wrote:But then there's balance of power between AP opportunity cost vs. XP opportunity cost. I've found in my games XP is easier to come by then AP. Even with the higher cost of High Elves and Dunedain, common skills seem to be harder to raise.
Is this just a function of my GM, or is this common?

Re: Weapon 4
Well, I'd certainly raise my weapon to 4 in your game then, but I'm usually experiencing AP shortage, which is why my high elf typically favors Skill of the Eldar (Best AP farmer ever) and Beauty of the Stars to diplomat his way into AP by the buckletload.
