List of adventures from conventions and other places

I've been keeping an eye on TOR adventures run at events and other locations, below is what I have been able to compile. I hope one day we'll see these published because at least three are official C7 GenCon adventures and not everyone (myself included) can make a GenCon in the USA and they don't seem to run the adventures at UK cons or if they do it's not advertised. If you find any more, please post below and I'll add them to this first post. I can add a player-created section if you want them added here, post below if you want them added and please give the name (or username) of the creator.

Word has spread north that Sauron has declared himself in the lands of Mordor and begun rebuilding his Dark Tower. Here in the Wilderland, the news is no better, something dark and sinister has once again occupied Dol Guldur, a strange creature has been reported in the Anduin River Valley lurking in the night and stealing fish from traps and babies from cradles, an army of orcs and wargs led by Bulgrum son of Bolg and grandson of Azog have been reported in the foot hills of the Grey Mountains, and a great fell beast is said to have appeared in the Mountains of Mirkwood. The Council of the North has gathered companies of men, dwarves and elves to investigate the strange happenings in the Wilderland. Will you join?

A Light in the Darkness was the C7 gencon demo from 2012, not Wood Witch and Wolf King.

There's also The Grey and the Gold, an adventure I ran at Conpulsion a few years ago.

Thanks for the clarification on "The Wood Witch" Gareth, I'll edit the entry slightly.

Any chance of more information about "The Grey and the Gold"? That one doesn't seem to get a mention when you Google the name, your name or Conpulsion :(

Edit: Was it the charity game you ran with Francesco Nepitello in 2012? (Source: http://www.ukroleplayers.com/forum/view ... 08&t=12843)

It'd be great to see some of these reach the mainstream community! I can understand convention exclusives and the like but by their very nature they can't be played by everyone which is disappointing as its the on-going community that are the bread and butter for successful RPG lines.

The way I see con stuff - you go there, you get to see/play/buy first before us poor beggars. But after the con has come and gone do you really resign the stuff there to memory and history? Why not bring out the adventures for others, keep the stuff alive, even if it's a bit after the con! FFG bring out their con packs for the LOTR LCG game a few months after GenCon, they have the right idea.

In the past 10 years I have attended a lot of cons, mostly UK but abroad including the US and Europe. I've not been to an actual rpg-centred con as yet, maybe this year and if not this I'll definitely go to one next year.

Totally love to have the convention adventures out for us to try out. I have tried the last two years to get in on a TOR game and failed, I tried!

This year, I'm not scheduling anything but TOR events for everyday, I will get in one in 2014!

Sorry... side tracked... I would by a pdf of the convention adventures just to have them.

Yes, I agree with the other posters & would love to see these, Jon, Dom, or whoever does this.

If there's anyway that C7 can post at least some of these, it would rock.

I can't imagine you'd run into excessive issues, since most of us just want to play 'em for our own games :)
