This is the next adventure from TfW I need to run. I am considering running Secrets Buried first and using that to uncover information making Radagast suspicious of something going on at the Dwimmerhorn, thus helping set up the mission and giving the players an incentive to see what is going on. Does that sound reasonable?

That sounds like a good way to tie the two together, Wb.
Tale of Years for a second, lower-level group (in the same campaign).

I don't see a problem with it. In Dol Guldur they can find notes or a map with some hideouts for the Shadow forces: Dwimmerhorn has a red pin on it.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Well, maybe not that obvious, but along those lines.

Yeah, that's how I'm going to play it too. In Dol Guldur's High Keep, the heroes find scraps from the Necromancers library, among them notes written by a mysteroius "M" regarding the Necromancer, his lieutenant The Gibbet King and how he torments Thrain. M notices among other things that the Gibbet King speaks to his servant through a mummified head. The players have just found a similar head among Valter the Bloody's belongings... Could the Gibbet King still be at large...
