Where to buy The One Ring products in the US?

Post by mirkwoodfalcon » Sat Mar 07, 2015 5:12 pm

Hello all,

I purchased The One Ring at Gen Con this past summer in Indianapolis and my group and I have loved every second of playing it. Naturally, I have been searching for a way to purchase the more recent supplements (Rivendell, Ruins of the North, etc) somewhere nearby. I live in Indiana, so I figured that it would not be difficult to find since GenCon, the biggest tabletop convention in the US, takes place here. However, in all my searching I have not found any TOR products anywhere.
I tried purchasing HotW off Amazon, but sadly, it does not come with a pdf like a hard-copy at a brick-and-mortar store would, which was very disappointing.
I've even checked the one store listed on the 'where to buy' page that is listed in Indiana, but it unfortunately had been closed for good when I arrived.
I just wish it were available at Barnes and Noble or something like that. I need to scratch that TOR itch I've been having lately! ;)

Has anyone in the area had any luck with finding TOR supplements?

If you purchase direct from Cubicle 7 they have a US warehouse where they ship from and you'll get the pdf immediately on ordering (if it's during UK business hours i.e. M-F 9 to 5).
Some TOR Information on my G+ Drive.

My FLGS carries them, but it'd be a long drive for you. :) of course, I'm such an addict that I preorder everything from C7 and get both the PDFs and physical products that way. Barnes and Noble used to carry the line but they're scarce to come by these days.

Ah, so they were at Barnes and Noble once upon a time! Shame they aren't still there. Of course, my wallet would likely be significantly lighter every time I visited the mall if they were, so perhaps it's a good thing in some ways.

I've considered doing this but I'd rather avoid shipping fees and get the product immediately upon buying it if at all possible. I'm probably just impatient and a penny-pincher. :?

I preorder mine from C7. Advance pdfs and usually get the print copy before it hits store shelves. It's been a good option for me.

Barnes and Noble is where I discovered it, but now I buy everything from C7. Both to get the PDFs right away, and to give those guys the highest margins.

Barnes & Noble still seems to carry TOR products in its on-line store (I found Rivendell on it), but I doubt you would get a pdf copy that way.

The only book I've gotten at Barnes & Noble was Tales from Wilderland. It's also the only book I don't have a PDF for, so that's why I get all mine from C7 now.
Tale of Years for a second, lower-level group (in the same campaign).
