For those interested, we already have 4 groups registered and a fifth is coming together.
Since Michebugio already confirmed his presence, I hope to see Corvo too.![]()
It's a shame, but I cannot attend, sorry.
By the way, probably I live some hundred meters away from Michebugio.
Given that the rpg community in Vicenza isn't huge, there is a fair chance that we already know each other in real life

Anothe little update, I asked my fellow co-author and we decided that, after ModenaPlay is over, we will make this adventure and all the related material avaible on this forum.
It may take a while though, since we will be running on a one-man translation team (namely me).

Not to take things too far O/T, but where exactly is the "Sunny South Coast", Hermes Serpent? I figure there are more than a few countries with a south coast.Hermes Serpent wrote:Just as a quick aside. If people would put their location data in their profile so that it appears under their avatar on each post, more of you might have realised that there is a sizable Italian TOR community.

Actually Hampshire, not far from Bournemouth. But then I have a group of about 30 people for face-to-face games and play a lot of games over Hangouts or Roll20 so I'm not looking for more people to game with.

I take it those are English towns/cities? The first thing that comes up for Hampshire on Google is a college in Massachusetts.

Hampshire is the county, Bournemouth is the nearest city. I live close to the western border of my county, right next to Dorset. So yes, England rather than the States. I tend to look at peoples posting times if I can't guess their rough location by their name and can normally see if they are posting in European times or US times. At over sixty it's a long time since I was in college.

Well, ModenaPlay is over and I think it's fair to give all of you an update.
The game went very well. We had 12 teams -- a 13th dropped because one of the players gave birth 3 weeks earlier than anticipated -- and they all enjoyed the experience.
I'm not sure hw long it will take me to translate and adapt the adventure, but I'll work on it.

Great news! 12 groups is a very high number for what I can see in my town. If we manage to reunite 3 tables we call it a success!
I'm eagerly awaiting for the adventure, then.
