Of Predators and Preys - A TOR Game at ModenaPLAY

Post by Woodclaw » Wed Mar 18, 2015 1:21 pm

[First of all a small foreword: I contacted Andrew and Jon over a week ago to ask if I could post this, but I got no response so far. If this thread violates any rule that I'm not aware of, I would gladly take it down]

ModenaPLAY is gaming convetion here in Italy that will take place on the 11th and 12th of April. I'm happy to announce that my gaming group -- Fantasika -- will host a One Ring tournament style game on both days, with an original adventure "Of Predators and Preys".

So I'm extending an invitation to all the Italian layers on this forum and all those who might want to tag along. The tournament is completely free and you can find more informations on Facebook. Pre-registration isn't mandatory, but it's appreciated.

I've posted about local gaming conventions, and particularly about one where I ran a game of TOR. I don't think that there is any problem with you doing the same. Good luck with your game!

Indeed, good luck! Let us know how it turns out.

Good luck from the other shore of the Mediterranean Sea!

Will you post your adventure somewhere by chance? It would be nice to have more fanmade adventures for conventions.

I'll have to talk about it with my fellow co-author, but I think that would be fine.

PS: I forgot to give a special thank you to zedturtle for providing me a copy of his map for use with our adventure.

Just a bit of thread bumping.

For those interested, we already have 4 groups registered and a fifth is coming together.

Since Michebugio already confirmed his presence, I hope to see Corvo too.

Just as a quick aside. If people would put their location data in their profile so that it appears under their avatar on each post, more of you might have realised that there is a sizable Italian TOR community.

Thank you Woodclaw, I'm lusingato :D
It's a shame, but I cannot attend, sorry.

By the way, probably I live some hundred meters away from Michebugio.
Given that the rpg community in Vicenza isn't huge, there is a fair chance that we already know each other in real life
