Rangers/Noldor EP

Rangers and Noldor need more EP to advance than other cultures. How do you conceptualize it within the game world?

I was thinking that since there is a longevity issues there is more time spent mastering the skill?

Other ideas?

'Slow to change; set in their ways' would be more the way I would go. If you're a high-born man or elf, it might be hard to be convinced that you need to listen to old wive's tales in order to increase your Lore; debate a Hobbit in order to increase your Riddle or practise with a dwarf to improve your weapon skill.
Jacob Rodgers, occasional nitwit.
