Origins Awards 2015 (Voting now open!)

Post by Hermes Serpent » Tue Apr 21, 2015 7:06 pm

'grats to the C7 team for two nominations for the Origins Awards 2015.

Hobbit Tales is going head-to-head with Darkening of Mirkwood for Best Roleplaying Supplement.

Battle of the Five Armies is also up for Best Board Game so Francesco and his team are in line for a second possible award.

I'm not sure how Hobbit Tales qualifies as a Roleplaying Supplement yet doesn't get a nomination as a Card Game, but congratulations to the nominees.

Can Rivendell be a candidate? If so, it would certainly have my vote. Of course so would the others

Submissions are done well in advance so Rivendell can not be entered for this year's awards.

If I'm doing my sums right, Rivendell will be eligible for the 2016 Origins Awards. But was eligible to be submitted for this years ENnies.

Thanks for the thanks! The Origins Awards mean a lot to us, so it's amazing to get two nominations this year. Congratulations especially to Francesco, Marco and Gareth, but also to everyone who worked on Hobbit Tales and Darkening of Mirkwood.

Battle of Five Armies has a beautiful board, so that's bound to win in its category. ;)

There appears to be an online voting form this year. Get to it, Fellowship of The One Ring, and tell your friends!

Hmmm. I'm hearing a rumour that it isn't supposed to be a public vote, and the link has been leaked. That's all a bit strange, but then so is an unannounced public vote.

So thanks for your votes - let's hope they count, and my personal apologies to you and the Origins Awards if I've passed on a link that should not have been shared (albeit in good faith!).
