I won't be there — I'm running the Sunday night game — but hope it goes well with the new crew.

The One Ring Revised Core rulebook PDF is over 30MB.
Generally the session went OK, although there was a bit of a concern at the start when I lost the internet connection - it is really hard to get back into the Hangout so you don't want to lose the connection for any reason.
Secondly, Google Support is completely useless for trying to find answers to various queries in regards to Hangouts (such as getting back in!) - I have been able to find a PDF user guide on Google Hangouts so I will try to read this before the next session.
The main issue we found was the sound quality was often poor due to reverbaration & echoes - so myself and some of the others are going to try with headphones & microphone next session. Generally the guys said they could hea me OK (as the host) but had trouble picking up each other now and then. But I did warn about teething issues because this all new stuff to most of us, so hopefully these things will get ironed out with time.

Thanks especially to the players who joined, played and helped make it worthwhile!

Re: [LFG/LFP] Australian G+ Hangout Game
Session 2.
Unfortunately only two players turned up this time, so I'm considering postponing this until I can get more players who are willing to play, or we can join forces with Jez' game and only have it on Sunday evenings.
It is unfortunate as we started The Dragons' Ring adventure - Mungo & Berulla managed to raise the alarm in Lake Town over orcs being seen near the dragon's carcass, and they managed to steal up to see that there were a few orcs searching amongst the bones of the dragon- Mungo shot the orc leader with an arrow and Berulla charged him, but then the leader vanished in front of Berulla's eyes! Mungo found a few gems & gold on the Lake bed, then they had to explain what happened to a dubious guard patrol, they went back to the town to declare to the Captain that there seems to be some Magic afoot and could they speak to someone who 'knows magic'.
Will continue the next morning when they go to the Elven Quarter for advice......
