Mine was home when I arrived today! Beautiful book!

Re: Ruins of the North arrived
As we were getting Huck ready for bed I showed my wife the beautiful book, and consequently Huck (22 months old) decided that was the book he wanted to read before sleeping. So we carefully turned each page, and he pointed at all of Jon's illustrations and we discussed them. ("Men...doggies!" Or me: "Goblin." Huck: "Noooooo") When we got to the end he insisted on doing it all again in reverse, page by page.
I figure in another six months I'll have him LMing for me.

(Feel compelled to edit and tip the hat to the illustrations of Jan, Andrew, Sam and Jeremy, my co conspirators in shaping youthful minds.)

The artwork is magnificent as always. The first thing I do when I get a new One Ring book is flip through and look at the pictures. To be honest, the artwork was the primary reason I bought Adventures Over the Edge of the Wild. I had never played or purchased an RPG before and likely would have passed it by if I hadn't been drawn in by the illustrations and beautiful page layouts.
Oh, and the maps were a big factor too. Love the maps!

My copy arrived with today's mail. Gorgeous as expected!

The first thing I do is bury my face in the book as I crack it open and breath in the new book smell*. Then I look at the cool art.Wbweather wrote:The first thing I do when I get a new One Ring book is flip through and look at the pictures.
