TOR at Gencon

Post by killianred » Thu May 14, 2015 6:12 pm

Just been looking through the event lists for Gencon, seeing quite a few TOR games. Have all of them except theft of the moon in my wishlist. Really starting to look forward to this, hope nothing happens to mess it up

My attendance at GenCon is becoming more tenuous by the day; I may have to cancel my Theft and DoW games... If I do so it will be in the next couple of days.

Yikes, I got excited to see Theft of the Moon as I wanted to go through it first before using it for my friends after Gen Con.

Hoping it doesn't get cancelled but I do understand the madness of Gen Con. I got lucky last year and got into three games. I will be trying again, all of them are in my wishlist.

I'll be there, hopefully joining in a few games :)

I'm most excited about Red Days Rising, looks like Cubicle7 is putting that on one (and I'm guessing it's from their Rohan expansion :D )

I've also got Theft of the Moon on my wishlist, looking forward to that as well if I can get in. :)

Red Days Rising (also running at Origins) might just give players a sneaky peek of Horse-lords of Rohan, yes.

Are there any noteworthy game conventions in New England?

Gosh, now I think I might have to go to Gencon.

Alright, I'd not even considered going to GenCon before, but this has me excited enough that I now might consider it (I ended up taking that time off as vacation from work, it turns out!).
Tale of Years for a second, lower-level group (in the same campaign).

Wait a sec...that implies that by August 1st Rohan won't be in pre-order.

:-(

I might have to take my eye off the website for a few moments.

I suppose that Horse-lords of Rohan could be available for pre-order by then. Especially as it seems to be coming out before The Adventurer's Companion! Not that I will complain if the AC has moved up on the schedule (or if my impression turns out to be incorrect). I am still hoping that both books (as well as Journeys & Maps) are released this year.
