My Mirkwood Campaign

Post by panzerattack » Wed Jun 17, 2015 11:25 am

Hello folks.

I started running the Darkening of Mirkwood campaign a couple of weeks ago and I've been recording session reports over on RPG Geek. If any of you wanted to check them out for ideas you can find the first one here:

Thanks for sharing these, Panzerattack: they're hilarious! :)

I stumbled across them from your mention of using Hobbit Tales for journey hazards. Well worth checking out for any Loremaster familiar with the Darkening of Mirkwood. I look forward to reading more of the further adventures of Falcor, Halti son of Balti et al ..

Cheers Stuart! I'm amusing myself writing them up but it's nice to hear that at least one other person finds them funny :)

We finally finished our Mirkwood campaign and had great fun along the way. I kept up doing session reports for the whole campaign. If you think they'd be of use to you, here's a link to the whole list of them:

Obviously if you're planning on playing in the Darkening of Mirkwood campaign don't read them as they'll totally spoil things for you!

I've been following them for months! Very funny and interesting.
I've been tempted to tell others of them but the ones who would be most interested (players in my starting campaign) are the ones I don't want to know some of what might happen in the DoM… darn it...
