So random surfing tonight turned up this interesting gem:

For those who don't want to click the link, a group is trying to raise 1.85 billion in the next 49 days to build Minas Tirith (as it appeared in the Peter Jackson films), and with the right amount of backing (of they can get funding) you can get a 100 year lease on a home in 'Gondor'.

I'd be shocked if they managed to get the funding but it would be awesome if they did pull it off.

And with Gondor being slowly built towards the Orcs have started a campaign to destroy it.

Of course, the lack of appropriate mountains in the region where the group wants to build might hamper the project a bit.
