Possible Adventure Seed: Bilbo Baggins wrote to his friends Bifur, Bofur and Bombur about an account of Arvedui, the last King of Arthedain, briefly sheltering in an abandoned Dwarf-mine near the lost city of Belegost before he and his followers fled further north, eventually taking refuge for a time with the Lossoth in Forochel. The Dwarves get it into their heads that the mine might allow access to a treasure vault in Belegost that might house the large pearl Nimphelos that was gifted to the Dwarves of Belegost by the Elf-king Thingol for the delving of Menegroth. The adventure would include a stop at the Halls of Thorin in the Ered Luin (which I wrote up in the House Rules Forum, here: viewtopic.php?f=56&t=4495) and the pearl might be a magical treasure (blessed by Ulmo). I've been thinking that the ruins might be occupied by creatures, based on prehistoric sea-scorpions, that communicate through bioluminescent patterns of color from organs on the sides of their bodies.

My impression of Bifur, Bofur and Bombur is that they might have been descended from the Dwarves of Belegost (the Broadbeams?) who relocated to Moria following the War of Wrath. They might be particularly interested in reclaiming treasures and artifacts of the lost city of Belegost.

I saw the link below in another thread. I was quite impressed when reading through some of those suggestions. People are wonderfully creative! It should keep you going for a while

The book about Rohan is.. close, but it's impossible to be more accurate. Some say one month, more or less.
The Companion is farther away

Teasers would be great. We just started a new campaign too, so... well, it would be great, seeing as it is taking so long.
