Of Finarfin's children I am the last. But my heart is still proud. What wrong did the golden house of Finarfin do that I should ask the pardon of the Valar, or be content with an isle in the sea whose native land was Aman the Blessed? Here I am mightier.

My players just went to Gondor last night using a MERPS module. I'd promised Rohan, but we're still waiting. So I'm running MERPS material with the stats adjusted.

What's funny (in a sad way) is that I don't care near as much about Horselords of Rohan as I do the Adventurer's Companion, though of course I'd pick it up just based on the strength of every book put out thus far. So the wait for this isn't killing me, it's the Companion, with the Elves of Lórien that I so desperately want to play with!

I'll second that; I want to see both of the new Cultures The Elves of Lórien and The Dwarves of the Blue Mountains. I'm also becoming increasingly impatient for Journeys and Maps, largely to see what is included in the travel guide. I'd like to see some things like this (borrowing from my own home-brewed material):Lara Redleaf wrote:What's funny (in a sad way) is that I don't care near as much about Horselords of Rohan as I do the Adventurer's Companion, though of course I'd pick it up just based on the strength of every book put out thus far. NOTABLE LOCATIONS
Hargrod
In T.A. 1982, after the Dwarves were driven from Moria by Durin's Bane, a group of Dwarves who were descended from the Blue Mountains established a new settlement in the Southern Ered Luin. Located south of the Emyn Romen, the line of hills extending eastwards from the southern range, they gave their new home the Sindarin name Hargrod (South Delving). Finding rich veins of iron ore, the Dwarves opened new mines; they also found other metals: copper, tin and even modest veins of gold. The Dwarves of Hargrod trade their metalcrafts with Elves of the Grey Havens, the Hobbits of the Shire and the few Men of Eriador who still dwell in the region.
The Tower Hills
The Emyn Beraid (Tower Hills) lie at the western edge of Eriador, about fifty miles from the border of the Shire. The hills were named for the three White Towers built, it is said, by the High Elves for Elendil at the time of the founding of Arnor. A palantír is kept at Elostirion, the tallest of the towers. This Seeing-stone looks back upon the Undying Lands and the High Elves sometimes visit the tower to look upon the lands of the Uttermost West.
New Fellowship Phase Undertaking: Pilgrimage to the Tower Hills
(High Elves only)
Any High Elves spending a Fellowship phase in the Grey Havens or anywhere else in western Eriador may use it to visit the White Towers at Emyn Beraid and gaze into the palantír kept at Elostirion to look upon the Undying Lands. Any High Elf who does this recovers one point of Hope.
Note to Loremasters: Within Tolkien's canon the Seeing-stone of Elostirion is placed aboard the White Ship of the Last Riding of the Keepers of the Ring in TA 3012 and returned to Eldamar.
"Far, far below the deepest delvings of the Dwarves, the world is gnawed by nameless things. Even Sauron knows them not. They are older than he."

Yeah we are also eagerly awaiting the companion and horselords. it is almost cruel to make such a great game and then not put the stuff out.

The book is never late. Nor is it early. It arrives precisely when it means to...
