So, it's pretty rough around the edges, but here's a searchable list of Undertaking summaries and source references. My group continually got annoyed during fellowship phases because of how difficult it is to find all the undertakings. I own Rivendell, Heart of the Wild, the Core book, and Laketown. I don't THINK there's any other Undertakings out there at the moment.
EDIT: Spreadsheet has been disabled. Please check undertakings link in my signature.
Unless I missed something all ranges are protected except for the search box. I've added some tags to make finding things a little easier but keep in mind I did this for my group. Spelling and grammar and whatnot weren't a focus. After I finished I realized it might be useful to others so I'm sharing in an "as is" state.
If you have any information corrections or think the summaries could be better feel free to respond with the corrections and I'll paste them in. Also if I've missed any Undertakings just respond with the details required (name, summary, location, culture, source and page) and I'll add it asap.
Also, I'm not sure how copyright stuff works so I made sure to not put too specific of information in here so that you still need the book to use the Undertaking. For the most part if you don't reference the sited source you're likely to do the Undertaking incorrectly.
Enjoy!
PS If you can't access the wesbsite for any reason send me a message so I can look into it. Thanks.

Re: Undertakings compilation
I've just realized that there are several more Undertakings within Darkening of Mirkwood. I just ordered it and will add those soon. I'm going to assume that there are Undertakings in all of the supplements, so if anyone would like to write summaries (make sure to not include so much detail that you don't need the source to use it. I don't want to break any copyright laws) and provide the page and source that would be awesome. I would like for this to be an exhaustive source for undertakings and I'm going to write a quick HTML frontend at some point so people aren't tripping over each other sharing a spreadsheet.

Hi MasterSmithwise.
Nice compilation of undertakings you have made. There also several similar index/lists made by other users. They are hidden around the forum. I think this is the fourth version I see of such a list. They all have their strengths and weaknesses. I think your looks pretty good, and is the first with a built in search function. You can look to these other lists to get the DoM undertakings.

Cubicle 7 seem to very supportive of fan-made content, that including game aid for existing rules. And I think your list is within the boundary of what is accepted by them. As long as you don't copy entire passages of text from the books I think you are fine.

Re: Undertakings compilation
Messing around with a spreadsheet isn't very user friendly, so I designed a basic frontend (sits right on top of the original spreadsheet, actually. Yay for Google Apps!).

I wish I could easily simplify the URL, but I guess that's what bookmarks are for.

Thanks for the links! If you have any suggestions for making this better please don't hesitate to throw them my way. I love tinkering with this kind of stuff. I'll also be a lot more happy once I've got 100% of the undertakings in the list.SirGalrim wrote:Hi MasterSmithwise.
