When I first got my copy, I remarked on how sturdy the books seemed. This hasn't changed.

I concur Stormcrow. I just finished reading the book & it holds up fine. I'm very pleased that they've opted for the hardbound route & hope they so continue. My original softbound are all falling apart & the bindings, & I treat them very carefully.

We're talking about the original "boxed" set (not Heart of the Wild) ;)

Of course; I'm just putting in my two pence concerning the hardbound plan & hoping they'll continue :)

My replacement arrived and it seems to be much sturdier than my original copy :D

So far I have been fortunate my books are holding up through average use at once-a-month game sessions.
I do all my research with the pdf's so they get no wear when I am at home though.
