Does it (and its new inhabitant) play some role in the Darkening of Mirkwood? Or is it kosher for my Heroes to cough*storm*cough investigate it?

And does someone have some idea about that inhabitant?
By the way, it is very near to the Dwimmerhorn, and I'm wary to create some sort of duplicate (my players are just starting Tales from Wilderland). I'm wondering if the better choice is to make it a false lead: the ruse of a foolhardy charlatan or a deluded wannabe-wizard.

I'm guessing that he's a blind for the Gibbit King, or one of his servants, & that he will figure in The Darkening of Mirkwood. You raise a great point about the proximity of the Dwimmerhorn, & it appears to be a perfect fit.

That said, however, it's your game...
