I'll be at GenCon and will for sure be stopping by the booth.zedturtle wrote: But the good news is that I know some other fans of The One Ring are going to be there, so I'll get to meet some of my friends face-to-face for the first time.
Awesome! On different note, my copy of Horse-lords arrived today! Gorgeous supplement!
Yep. I feel very upset (at myself) by every error that was not caught, even though I know that such things are impossible. I spent a good chunk of the 90s working on school text book publishing, and we had three separate people input the text for each book. Then those three different text were electronically compared in order to identify typos. Despite this, errors still crept into the books.Glorelendil wrote:All of us....?Hermes Serpent wrote:Which proofreader is responsible for that one eh?
No need to apologize! And yes, you have the updated version. I just checked my email and three months ago there was an update to HLoR, which I failed to download... Checking the new one out now. I dont think you guys should be concerned, though, its a tiny error, it happens!Dunheved wrote:I must be being thick again. Apologies if that is the case and particularly to Kullervo.
I have HLoR and my page 157 has Endurance 22; my pdf is also 22 Endurance for Ralsora the Dunlending. This is exactly as Kullervo says it should be isn't it?
Am I lucky enough to have a corrected version?
However, I was fortunate enough to be of some late help at the proofreading stage so my hand must go up for anything I missed as well. We are all human! (or perhaps Elf, Dwarf or Hobbit)
I can only underline Zedturtle's comments about how much of a challenge it is to get to the absolute perfection required for proofreaders and commend the very positive approach C7 take to any points noticed.
Awesome! I'm going to try and hang out as much as is reasonable there, though (of course) I have commitments to be elsewhere at certain times. Hope to see you around...Matchstick wrote:I'll be at GenCon and will for sure be stopping by the booth.
