11 pages! Where are the admins to take counter measures? Deleting and baning seems futile. The admin has to introduce new security measures like rhe OP suggested or other ones.

I think I've not dealt with any spam in the Primeval forum though.

Sorry that I was out gaming last night when the torrent of pressed meat hit the slicer and the spam corps was hard pressed to keep up with the stuff.

Yeah, fair enough. It just seemed like last night's spam blizzard was only affecting this forum in particular. But then again, it was a new kind of spam, one we've not seen before.

In fairness, the majority does seem to be in the One Ring forum at the moment, so you may have something there .

The waves of spamming over the past couple nights remind me of the waves of bad guys at the Crossing of Celduin adventure in TfW.
