It'll be interesting to see just how many "sleeper spammers" there are. That will be useful data for when we eventually reopen.

This spammer just posted a pornographic image to the forum: RobbieKt

I've deleted his post, but I do not have the power to ban users. This action deserves a proper banning. Would someone mind doing the honors?

Ditto to Haroldki - there is also at least one more new user suspected to be the same spammer, HaroldKI, who hasn't yet posted but no doubt is biding his/her time.

Whilst we're at it, what about all the users with links to UK kitchen companies? They look dodgy!
Also if you look at the list of most recently joined users (and there have been a lot - almost 500 in the last 21 days), there are a swarm of obvious spammers-to-be - a lot of effort and grief could be saved by getting rid of the obvious ones, at least.

No problem - I'll check the logs from time to time and try to spot any spam deletions that need to be followed up with a ban.

Quite a few of them are likely to have been banned already. It's just that banning them doesn't remove them from the members' lists.

Cool. I know I killed a post earlier, but the username escapes me at the moment.
