Comparing Rivendell p22 with the Core book p199, I would say that this is a special feature of Rivendell. To gain the benefits of spending a Fellowship phase in another location the Fellowship would have to first open it as a new Sanctuary.lucacherstich wrote: I own also the "Rivendell" book and at page 22 I see that if one enters Rivendell during the Adventuring phase there is a "free" Fellowship phase in Rivendell. To have more you have to open a sanctuary there.
Is it true also for other sanctuaries?

Right, except during combat (I don't know about others, but I count Preliminary rolls as being part of the combat, too).Indur Dawndeath wrote:And now with Eye of Mordor rules, if you are strict as I am. The company count towards revelations outside Sanctuaries or Home...
Adventure Summaries for my long-running group (currently playing through The Darkening of Mirkwood/Mirkwood Campaign), and the Tale of Years for a second, lower-level group (in the same campaign).
