@Robin, I know that their release about Rivendell (TBC) discusses magical artifacts, but I can't recall any other references to 'official' magic rules.
Can you please remind me where you saw that?
Thanks!

Re: Spell-casting characters
Well if we get Elven rope and Elven cloaks and maybe some special spears and bows, some Elven foodstuffs and maybe a trinket once owned by Galadriel then that volume will meet my expectations on the item/magic front. Throw in at least one new culture, some backgrounds and callings and it'll be a first class release for me.

I'm shooting for two cultures (Dúnedain and Eldar; one wonders how much variation we'll see with Elves since one could argue either way regarding the degree of difference between Sindar and Noldor, Elves from Lorien versus Rivendell versus Lindon, and so on). Any "spells" ought to be equivalent in power and mechanics to those already in play for Dwarves and Mirkwood Elves.Hermes Serpent wrote:Well if we get Elven rope and Elven cloaks and maybe some special spears and bows, some Elven foodstuffs and maybe a trinket once owned by Galadriel then that volume will meet my expectations on the item/magic front. Exactly my thoughts. How I would wish it to come for Xmas!Hermes Serpent wrote:Well if we get Elven rope and Elven cloaks and maybe some special spears and bows, some Elven foodstuffs and maybe a trinket once owned by Galadriel then that volume will meet my expectations on the item/magic front. Of Finarfin's children I am the last. But my heart is still proud. What wrong did the golden house of Finarfin do that I should ask the pardon of the Valar, or be content with an isle in the sea whose native land was Aman the Blessed? Here I am mightier.
