The teaser indicates it will include a map of Eriador, is this just the Eastern Eriador map released with Rivendell, or will it cover the whole of Eriador (including the western regions like Ered Luin and the Shire?)
Oooh good question!

Very excited for this. Just please make sure the layout people do not put the Loremaster and Player (hexed and plain) versions of the same maps back to back.

I game in a space with multiple tables and it would be very nice to give the players their version of the map while spreading out the LM map on a different table.

So it does! That is encouraging. Forochel is also covered.

I am hopeful that the Eriador map will include both the Blue Mountains and the lands of Lindon. There should be a number of dwarven communities located in the southern Ered Luin and it would be nice to include the former Halls of Thorin Oakenshield.

CURSE YOU HODGSON!

Seriously, it looks to me like the maps will cover basically the same area as the LOTR map. I'd be very surprised if western Eriador wasn't included. The blurb says "Eriador", not "Eastern Eriador", and it also mentions Gondor and Mordor, which of course haven't been covered before either.
Aiya Eärendil Elenion Ancalima!

... but you can call me Mark.

Wow! What a week!

Reading the ToC intrigues me even more than their original announcement and I can't wait to get this.

PS That's also a hint Jon/Andrew: publishing the table of contents in addition to the covers is a great way to wet our whistle for your future releases. Just saying ;)

This is going to be the perfect supplement to lure in unwary non-TOR-players, and even non-gaming Tolkien fans. Who doesn't love a great map?

Once it launches we should be linking it in general Tolkien fan sites.

Then..."What's this stuff about Hazards in the booklet? It sounds like fun. How do these games work....?"

Please let it have the southern regions with Minhiriath and the western Enedwaith. I've got some ideas for a game exploring second age Numenorian ruins in the region, meeting the few remnants of the Dunedain of Cardolan who fled into those parts when the kingdom fell, and the other men of the area. Less orcs that you can kill assuming they're evil, more men you have to work out how to work with.

Looks great! Congrats again to our own zedturtle and Glorelendil, for continuing to do great proofreading work. You're becoming mini-celebrities! :)
Adventure Summaries for my long-running group (currently playing through The Darkening of Mirkwood/Mirkwood Campaign), and the Tale of Years for a second, lower-level group (in the same campaign).
