You're not the only one who likes maps they can write upon. The Maps in the PDF of 1st ed printed fine at 3'x4' or so.
Many of us who buy only in PDF do so not because of having gone electronic in-session. (in fact, I dislike players using electronics during games, even in Sci-Fi games, because it tends to become a temptation to play computer games during session, rather than pay attention.) Me, i do so because I'm basically broke, don't have enough book storage space, and almost never crack the books during session, because I make cheat sheets which reorganize the tables and processes for my own comprehension, and use them in lieu of a GM screen. And when I do need a rulebook during session, it's MUCH faster to use Acrobat's search than to flip through a physical book.
