Really happy to hear this, Rich. I've actually done that. Made a note to use some of these as points of interest even if no Hazard got generated during a session. A Mere Cheat to Betray Him comes to mind as one I used in that fashion. It really took the adventure off into a cool, unexpected place.

Your high praise just made my day. I'm forever grateful to Andrew for the invitation to work on this supplement. It was great fun and helped me to think of Hazards in a different light. That is to say, they could sometimes be little vignettes or flash fictions.

While all the new hazards are very welcome and popular, I'm going to give a shout out to a section I feel may be a little overlooked: "On the Road to There." This simple section feels like something that should have been in the core rules all along, explaining what sorts of things fill all those empty spaces on the maps.

Yes to all the above. The hazards and the "On the Road to There" chapters are very evocative and give quite a feel to Middle-earth. I'm really enjoying reading this book, they've done another great job.

I've noted two glitches (without any importance):

Pg 20, Title should be 'On the Road to There' and not 'On the Road to to There'

And

Bones of the Earth Pg 25 Feat Die 6 give as a Result 'Inn' but it is said as a Waystation Pg 26.
Nothing of Worth.

I've already noted this in another thead below, but I spotted what I consider to be a remarkable omission on the maps for Mordor: The region of Khand. south-east of Mordor, should be labeled. Granted, not very much of Khand is visible.

You're not the only one who likes maps they can write upon. The Maps in the PDF of 1st ed printed fine at 3'x4' or so.

Many of us who buy only in PDF do so not because of having gone electronic in-session. (in fact, I dislike players using electronics during games, even in Sci-Fi games, because it tends to become a temptation to play computer games during session, rather than pay attention.) Me, i do so because I'm basically broke, don't have enough book storage space, and almost never crack the books during session, because I make cheat sheets which reorganize the tables and processes for my own comprehension, and use them in lieu of a GM screen. And when I do need a rulebook during session, it's MUCH faster to use Acrobat's search than to flip through a physical book.

Huh. I can appreciate that, but sometimes it seems like the 'muscle memory' of finding things quickly in the hardcopy is faster than the digital equivalent. But then again, I'm often running online, or otherwise on my computer and so I end up using both... I just had the core rulebook physically in front of me and also had it up on one monitor (on a different page) whilst I was writing on the other monitor.
