I agree, Earendil. They sure do look cool - too bad so many sets are so hard to read. But I have the Classic Elven dice, and they have only the relevant numbers on them, so they're quite readable. I vote for the Classic style!Earendil wrote:But I would like to mention that I find some (not all) Q Workshop dice quite hard to read, so I hope you'll bear in mind that some of us have pathetic eyesight and would appreciate easy-to-read dice!

They should be ok for a roleplaying game but I know they were not exactly a big hit in the warmachine community because they were hard to read and at tournaments that is a timed game so losing time argueing over a roll is not good. I hope they go for something easily readable but purdy at the same time.

Oh heck yes, gimme a website to order ":D

Uh, I know some who will want them, but I find my one pair of Q-Workshop dice all too hard to read. Excessive ornatenes impedes play. If you can cure them of that, sure...Jon Hodgson wrote:Q Workshop dice for The One Ring (and Doctor Who and LWAG), what would you say?

Regardless of what some folks think others will gleefully embrace the fantastical curliques of Q-Workshop dice. I have a player who, in my Call of Cthulhu game, insists on using his arabesque illustrated glow-in-the-dark special Q-Workshop Cthulhu dice even though we play in either full daylight or under fluorescent illumination and he can never see them fluorescing.
