Video Tutorial of Engagements in Close combat
If anyone is interested, I just posted a short tutorial video on youtube here.
The video explains how to do engagements in close combat as described on pp. 174-175 of the core rules.

Re: Video Tutorial of Engagements in Close combat
Your video helped me remember a part of the engagement rules I usually forget:
Even when heroes get to choose the engagements, each can only choose one foe to engage. The remaining foes (usually because there are heroes in Rearward Stance) are engaged by the LM, not the players.
Also, another step that I usually mix because of the battle-fever is that Stances are selected before engagements: thus the LM can engage his monsters knowing the chance of succees of their attacks.
Thanks for the video, James.
The next one should be about a company being attacked by Attercops, with the adversaries using Great Leap, Seize Victim, and rolling great or extraordinary successes on their attacks against heroes in Rearward Stance!

Nice one, would defo like to see more.
Maybe a whole fight from start to finish, especially if it captures a few of the creatures more unique abilities.

Great video, James, and a nice, clear reminder on how to do things!
Adventure Summaries for my long-running group (currently playing through The Darkening of Mirkwood/Mirkwood Campaign), and the Tale of Years for a second, lower-level group (in the same campaign).

I finally had a chance to watch this. Very helpful, and a good demo of your cards and counters!
