In anticipation of questions/concerns/comments, I have been running PbM games since 1997 (posted overseas after my graduate studies). At the time, I did not use bulletin boards but email (in fact, until very recently). To keep things flowing, I take care of the narration and dice-rolls ; the focus is then very much on role-playing for participants rather than roll-playing (see what I did there?

That being said, I am certainly open to suggestions this time around, especially if players would like to be a little more involved in the 'mechanics' of the game (i.e. rolling feat and success dice). This is something we can discuss and agree upon as a group... My only concern is that with more players, keeping things moving is always a challenge ; which is why the more left to the loremaster, the better (in my opinion).
