Oooh...that's a fun question. It should be something related to the fading of past glories, and/or living under the constant proximity of the shadow. So, yeah, I could see it being a Valour mechanic, or something related to Shadow/Hope. Or both.

How about: "When making a Corruption test, on a Great Success you can help one companion, turning their failure into a success, and on an Extraordinary Success you can do this for two companions." That could also be a Virtue, similar to "Endurance of the Ranger".

Sounds good to me.

For the impatient such as I, I thought a quick substitute would be to take the Barding cultural blessing Stout Hearted and have the following stats;

Awe:2 ..........Inspire:1 ......... Persuade:1
Athletics:2 ..........Travel:0 .......... Stealth:0
Awareness:1 .........Insight:2 ..........Search:1
Explore:0 ..........Courtesy:2 .......... Riddle:1
Song:0 ..........Healing:1..........Hunting:0
Craft:1..........Battle:3.........Lore: 2

Virtues; King's Men, Swordmaster, Woeful Foresight, Shadow Bane, Hunter's ( Defender's) Resolve

Just to make a fast character using already established cultures as basis.
