When players are traveling through a blighted place, whats the TN for the corruption test?

The color code on the maps stands for the multiplier to determine the travel distance.
Region table (p.158) and map symbols showing the TN for the travel rolls.
Table on p.223 tells us the frequency of corruption test in a blighted place.

Is the corruption test TN usually 14 or is the TN for the corruption test the same like the region table p.158?

Blighted places is one of those rules that causes a lot of confusion. I think if you're going for the interpretation that blighted places are fairly localised then you should probably use the regional TN (e.g. TN 16 for Wild Lands, etc.).

If you're going with an interpretation that entire areas are blighted, then I would probably go for TN 14 and let the region determine the total number of Corruption tests required.

The RAW says that the TN is that of the region, as zed pointed out first.

And, to add slightly to what he said, the game proposes that there are blighted places, not regions.
Thus, travelling through the Southern Mirkwood needs not to require Corruption tests (unless the LM decides to). Is finding Dol Guldur itself that forces Corruption tests, for example.
Or the inmediate surroundings of the shore where Smaug's corpse lies, but not the whole Long Lake.

Only Mordor itself could be, in a future supplemen,t Blighted Region IMHO.
