Forum help: IMG resizing

Anybody know how to resize images using the IMG tag? [img width=100] and [img width="100"] both fail. Googling around all I get is BBCode help...is C7 forum markup a different dialect?

I always end up doing it manually; I believe various features can be turned on or off by the particular flavour of forum software selected.

I'm pretty sure that not all BBCode is available on all forums that use it. I thinks it's up to the administrators what they use. I know I've tried to use various plug-ins codes for youtube vids that work on RPGnet, for example, but don't work here or elsewhere.
