Ok, I still have one or two issues of concern with this, but overall I have to say that I am satisfied with what I've seen so far. I still would prefer if it were a stand alone set up, but the SRD should be enough to get things running. I like the idea of a conversion set up for the TOR material; this way we don't have to wait for new books to come out we can use what we already have.

Unfortunately, the shipping charges from the UK to Canada are probably going to be a deal breaker for the pre-order. So, I'll have to wait to get the physical book. Will the PDF be up for a general release (ie on drivethru) next month? I'll be more then happy to check that out in August.

On behalf of myself and my fellows here I would like to apologize for the abuse that was heaped on the employees that took the time to make sure that the Erbor PDFs got out in a timely manner. Heaven knows we all can over react at times, particularly when money has been put into the mix, but that kind of behavior you spoke of was uncalled for and just plain rude, and there is no excuse for that.

I said it upthread, but I'm pretty sure you'll be able to get that 400-odd page pdf down to a far lower number so the SRD is the way to go.

The shipping for Canada is $8. Remember, C7 has warehouse/distribution facilities in the US as well as across the pond.

Hmm, perhaps I missed something, but the last time I looked into ordering something direct from C7 the shipping was almost as much as the cost of the book. I'll have to look into this further.

That might be a little strong. Some folks might incorrectly assume that the process is automated and that they're venting at a computer problem, instead of a service "problem" (problem in quotes because of course that they do such things on the evenings and weekends at all is a great favour to us).

That said, being rude is very seldom the right answer.
