Oh! I am so jealous!! Being from Europe, it is very challenging for me to be at gencon! One of these years I have to plan my holidays in a way I can be at gencon! I have to think how to convince my family... :)

I already looked up the dates for next year and God willing, I am going to do my dead level best to be there. Working the C7 booth doing demos, hanging out with the C7 crew, meeting people from the forum, and running games of The One Ring really amounts to an awesome 5 days in Indianapolis. This is the best community of gamers!
Yep, we really missed you.

I did talk you up on occasion, though. Especially around Hobbit Tales and how there were multiple ways to approach the game.

Cool!

Bear in mind that the same problem in reverse is present for us Yanks... sooner or later (2018, I think) I'll make it over there, but I'd love to do some of the big conventions in the U.K. And I'd also love to go to Essen. Hopefully it will happen some day.

Gencon was dangerous. I tried out TOR, talked to the C7 guys at the booth, had a blast. Went home and blew a ton of money on books and dice. Don't regret it one bit. :D

Awesome! So glad to hear about your experience and that you got the chance to try out The One Ring... it's been my favourite game for a long while now and I'v found that I actually really enjoyed explaining it to new players. It allows me to see an old favourite with new eyes, or at least get a glimpse of that process and it's very cool.

I actually separated my dice again after Gen Con... I've now got a bin of demo dice and another bin of regular dice. But, of course, you can never have too much dice.
