We had our local convention Queen City Conquest here in Buffalo.
I ran an 8 hour One Ring game, broken into 2 4-hour slots, Those Trees Had Names. Many first time players got to see how wonderful The One Ring is.

Re: One Ring at Queen City
I sat in on the second session of Garrett's game, playing a pre-gen Wild Hobbit (we arrived for the day too late to be in Part 1). It was great fun. Our Dwarf had to be rendered unconscious with a blow to the head to prevent him from looting the Forest Dragon's hoard while she was sleeping! That was one of the highlights of the game for me.
"Far, far below the deepest delvings of the Dwarves, the world is gnawed by nameless things. Even Sauron knows them not. They are older than he."
