But for the Bilbo writeup, I was hoping you'd do him in Player Character format. Ditto Glorfindel and Thranduil.

I'm afraid I only did them as NPCs. I didn't see any point in doing them as PCs. Why do you want them as player characters rather than NPCS?

EDIT: I also realised I did them as NPCs because Thranduil was merely statted up to give me an idea as to how he'd interact with the players in an encounter, and I wanted Bilbo and Glorfindel to have unique special abilities which I had created

Well, having Bilbo and the 13 dwarves as PCs means you can literally play the Hobbit. Ditto the 8 members of the Fellowship of the Ring for playing LOTR. Sadly, I can't figure out how to do Gandalf as a PC, but...

Maybe, but given 52xp I wanted to highlight his strength - combat. Thus he has Great Axe 5 and specialised. He's a beast in combat, is tough, is valrous and a bit wise... which is how I see Gimli. Give the challenge a go?

So, here's my idea of Frodo Baggins. Wisdom and Heart are maximized because Frodo's main job in the company is to tank corruption tests like a champ. Art of Dissapearing is inadequate for somebody who's got the One Ring handy, but it tries. He's been stabbed by the nastiest things in middle earth and survived (tough in the fibre), he's reasonably hard to hit (small folk), and he's nearly permanently weary from carrying the One Ring around, so he can overcome mere physical weariness when he wants to (Brave at a Pinch). King's Blade and Grievous are meant to represent Sting, Lucky Armor's meant to represent the mithril coat. Had I room for Valor 6, I might've thrown two Cunning Makes on his mithril mail. Valor 4 represents being crazy enough to get anywhere near Mordor with the One Ring in the first place.

Of course, this is just starting out Frodo. You'd better believe he's got Wisdom 6 by the time he gets anywhere near Mordor and the One Ring is throwing TN 30 corruption tests around like party favors.

Really like your Frodo; and a nice choice of skills. I think the wisdom 4 will keep corruption at bay - especially with the Halfling racial feature. Nice work!

There's a reason his sword skill is still a mere 2.

Oh, and the Gimli Writeup should've been Grievous and Keen. Damage 11 is a Greivous Axe, where it's normally damage 9.

While this could be fun, personally I think there's more to be said for telling your own, new stories in middle earth, rather than recounting the ones we already know so well.. there's also the fact that if you're struggling with keeping in line with cannon, actually playing the Fellowship or the party from The Hobbit makes your life a whole lot more difficult.

Equally, if you were do to that, I would strongly advocate against Gandalf as a PC. Not only because you'd have to create a whole new set of magic mechanics or use one of the fan created systems, but also because anybody not playing Gandalf would probably feel inferior, and the person playing Gandalf might end up getting a bit carried away and try to throw flaming pinecones at everything. Then again, that could be great fun and just what you're looking for. But I'm afraid I can't help if you want a bunch of PC 'heavy hitters' :/
