I'm guessing there is a strong chance that you have an archer or two and already and I believe you already have someone wanting to play a Wood-elf, so I'd be more than happy to step in as a Beorning or Dwarf with the calling of Scholar or Wanderer. There is one issue that may be an obstacle, as there is a strong possibility that I will still be on holiday when your first session takes place. If that's a deal-breaker I completely understand.
Session absences aren't a problem as long as I know about them, preferably in advance but I know sometimes real-life interferes. I've currently got 6 players, with another possibly in the wings due to a miscount. While the game runs well with larger groups, I don't want to run with any more than this at the moment. I'll definitely let you know if a space comes up though.

I completely empathize, I tried running a campaign with eight people once and it was not an experience I'd care to repeat. The logistics of keeping track of folk and making sure everyone's engaged gets to be a bit of a headache. Limit groups to five, these days. Well, in any case, have fun and perhaps I'll catch you the next time around.

This game's first session ran today. Great game! We were shy our dwarf and hobbit though. Which, since we're headed for the elf king's hall, isn't a terrible thing :)

I'm VERY interested. I have a lot of experience with Fantasy Grounds and I have an Ultimate license too.

Are you available to talk about this some online over Skype or something, Loremaster?

We've had our second game now, and the dwarf is still AWOL. I think he's about to be replaced...

Okay, there are two slots in the game open. Láthspell and DaddyStabz get first refusal on these.

And we just dueled a Nazgul and drove the thing off before it murdered us all in 3 different ways.

In case anyone is wondering how this campaign's going.

It wasn't a duel. Trust me :)
It was a confrontation. You let it know that it had been discovered.
