My group has been playing through "Don't leave the path" and the group is very curious about Wolfbiter. I was just wondering if anyone knows about any actual information about it in any of Tolkien's published works? Or was it just something made up for the game? Of course I can make up my own details, but if there is an actual mention of it anywhere I would rather use it.

I've read pretty much everything Tolkien wrote and published (or his son got published) in the M-E setting and although not 100% sure, I'm pretty sure Wolfbiter was created for TOR RPG as I can't recall reading about it anywhere.

When I first heard of Wolfbiter I did a google check and the only hits were from TOR and C7. So, I would say that it is a TOR creation.
