I put on pending tasks checking it. :)

It's more likely that I'm just getting mixed up!

Sauron's uruks are hunched with ape like arms.

Saruman's stand upright as tall as a man.

I would suggest they have a dash of man blood in them though they are distinct from half orcs. Which were likely proto Uruk-hai, used at the battles of the Isen.

I thought so but started second-guessing myself. Do you (or anyone else) have quotes from the books for each type. It's really bugging me and I'm not at home at the moment!

I'm not near my books at the moment. I do remember the description well though. The Uruk-hai chapter is one of my favourites.

Which game are we talking about?

The best one... finding quotes in the source material! :)
JRR Tolkien wrote:In the twilight he saw large black Orc, probably Uglúk, standing facing Grishnákh, a short crook-legged creature, very broad and with long arms that hung almost to the ground.
There's no saying for sure that Uglúk and Grishnákh are representative of their factions, but it is probable.

Ah, ok, ok, I though “I’m missing something”.

Are we sure than Uglúk and Grishnákh are both of them Uruk-Hai?
Because I always thought Grishnákh was an orc and Uglúk an uruk-hai.
