Actually it's thank to Garn for doing that dump of the old forum. I just upzipped all the threads and have clipped out relevant material and filed them away as the same questions do seem to occur frequently enough that it shows where the gaps are in the rules and where clarity needs some tweeking to improve it. Having the threads in a single folder also allows easy searching and it's something I'd recommend to every new LM - get the zip file and read through the old threads as someone has bound to have had the same issue as you. Plus there is a whole pile of very erudite and interesting discussion to be found.

Hermes you wouldn't happen to have that collected rulings in a single PDF or something you'd be willing to share, would you?

No, I don't have all those collected, it's just a series of clipped forum posts in txt format in a folder. There was a collected rulings pdf that had nice formatting that had many of the semi-official things, like the alternate journey rules, and actual errata that someone had done. Last time that got mentioned said collector popped up and mentioned it again. It might even be in the stickied resources post at the top of the forum.

QUOTE (Osric @ Aug 28 2011, 04:13 PM)
Protection isn't just armour, as you can spend Hope to add your Body attribute bonus to the Protection roll.
I'd usually(?) interpret this as using the agility component of your Body for a 'semi-dodge': not moving enough to avoid the blow, but enough to take it on -- or deflect it off -- a properly-armoured portion of your body, or keeping any chinks in your armour out of harm's way.UNQUOTE

Protection rolls ARE affected by weariness, exactly for the reasons listed by Osric.

This is 100% correct.
