Looking it over, everything looks good except one thing: Elves of Lorien are listed with Awareness automatically Favored. They should have Song instead.

Fixed. Thanks for the bug report.
I think it was only a mistake in the listing of cultures when creating a new character. When selecting Elf of Lórien, it was Song what was actually being marked favoured, regardless of what the first screen was listing.

Thanks for the great character generator, Azrapse. C7 should hire you for this because this is one of the best gaming tools I have ever used. Can't imagine TOR without it.

Thanks for your nice words.
The One Ring's character creation is not that complex, but before the Adventurer's Companion, it was a bit all over the place. It certainly helps having it all conveniently reachable within a couple of clicks.

I started writing this tools for my friends, for a campaign we were going to play with me as the Loremaster. We played lots of Middle Earth roleplay games for the past two decades. With previous games based on Middle Earth, in particular Decipher's "The Lord of the Rings roleplaying game" and ICE's "Middle-Earth Role Playing" or MERP, creating their characters required basically 100% of the game-master's attention to guide them thru the procedure.
That led to a lot of wasted time that more often than not, ended with a player having a character that was close to what they wanted but not really.
Perhaps because they realized by the end of the creation process that they didn't really like that, and would have liked to explore other options, but felt bad about asking me to start all over.

By building this tool, I let my players spend as much of their own time exploring the many possibilities that the game offered to them, and backtrack as often as they pleased until they had in their hands a character they were totally happy with, or three.

But above anything, this tool let us play the game even after I moved to another country and we couldn't sit anymore around the same physical table. By having the characters stored in a webserver allowed us to have a paper-free roleplay game (save for the game books, but soon it became more and more paper-free with the PDFs), while still being the classical pen-and-paper kind of game. Well, not literally pen and paper. But you get my point. :D

This game gave me a lot of good moments, and that is something that I want to repay, by giving back to the community a bit of my time as a thank you.

This resource is awesome. It contains just enough info. to create a character, while still encouraging people to buy the books and play the game. Sincerely appreciated!

Ooh, caught another error. At least when I do it:

The Men of Bree backgrounds are all still numbered rather than named (and thus without descriptions). Some of their Distinctive Features are also off (Honourable being spelled honorable and not being capitalized and the like).

Some Distinctive Features are also off in the Elves of Lorien backgrounds (there's a misspelled Generous and another Honourable with the alternate spelling and sans capitalization, for example).
.
.
.
Once again, I want to emphasize that this tool is awesome, has made my TOR gaming better in every way, and I'm exceedingly grateful for it. I just like playing around with it and have editorial instincts/mild OCD, and therefore notice stuff like this.

Thank you for the bug report!
I was quite tired when I entered those cultures and I made mistakes. Now they are solved, or they should.
Thanks again. A programmer's life is much easier with a good team of testers. :)

Also, I just reorganized the cultures as they are listed in the first step of the creation wizard.
Until today, they appeared all mixed up (actually, organized by release date).
Now first there come the Man cultures, then the Dwarves, then the Elves, then the Hobbits.

Okay, this one isn't a bug report per se, but it is a potential issue with the utility of this (otherwise completely wonderful) tool:

You can't add additional Distinctive Features or Specialties, only replace existing ones. Usually, this is how the game works too, but Small Folk adds the 'Small' Distinctive Feature, and Conferring with Saruman, Gandalf, or Radagast can grant additional Specialties, and that's off the top of my head, I'm sure there's another way or two to get additional ones...something that, at the moment, the generator simply doesn't support.

It's certainly not the end of the world if this can't be added, but it'd definitely have a bit of added utility if it could.

Thanks.
I guess that makes sense.
I will try to and that functionality when I am back from my Christmas visit to the relatives.

Maybe you could add the dwarven grudges from Erebor (p.95) the same way as you put in degeneration?
