For anyone interested in the Haradrim, specially as a playable culture, there's a great article in the Fantasy Flight web, due to the LotR LCG cycle of Harad.
I think the article deserves to be read:

Thank you for sharing this Falenthal. I'm writing an adventure which carries the heroes to Umbar and beyond, and enjoyed reading these insights about the Haradrim. I don't agree entirely with their use of heavier armor for the Men of Gondor (and such), however, it's well written and great having the quotes in one article. :)

But the Hobbits of Bree-Land are in the Companion, just not as a separate entry. If someone wants to play a Woodman of Mountain Hall they'll still need Heart of the Wild, which is a bit annoying IMO.

Actually, I don't need to be too much of a tease: sure it is arguable how wholly new some of the five are - sure there were snippets in previous supplements for a couple of them. But there's a lot more in the Companion. Equally on the other side, there are some small things we've left in supplements and not collected, just because we didn't want to completely mine out every last thing.
OK, I guess I see the reasoning. But it makes the Companion incomplete. I wanted to be able to hand it and the rulebook to players and say, "Here are all the cultures you can choose from." Now I have to add, "Unless you want to play a subculture of the Woodmen who live in -- hang on, here's another book, turn to page whatever!"

That's great, and I like that they've carefully pointed out the depth to what Tolkien actually wrote. People all too often read Tolkien's works very superficially, seeing a simplistic view of good and evil. In fact he shows lots of shades and there's always an undercurrent of compassion and understanding (unlike, say, C.S. Lewis, who seems to actively enjoy "punishing" characters he disapproves of).

Print pages 44–45 of Heart of the Wild, or just enter the few paragraphs* that are important into a word processor and print that. Slip this into the Adventurer's Companion. Done!

*The paragraphs and sections entitled "Inhabitants," "The Woodmen of Mountain Hall," "Cultural Blessing: Mountain Fighters," and, optionally, "New Fellowship Phase Undertaking: Hunting Grim Hawks."

Fair point, though the information for creating such a player Hero isn't hard to obtain. I wouldn't be surprised if there is also such a variant in the eventual Gondor supplement (Knights of Dol Amroth? Men of the Southern Fiefs?).
