Bree hardcover
Bree hardcover
So, what is thiiiiiis?
I was checking in to see if Erebor was available yet through Alliance games yet, (it is not) when I noticed that new entry. I;m goona guess it's the adventures for western Eriador. Color me very intrigued.

Re: Bree hardcover
Link? Can you furnish the product description? I've looked around the Alliance Games site, but I'm not seeing this. Then again, I don't have an account with them.

While I can't provide a direct link to the page since it's behind a retailer password, here is the link for the Alliance product alert. http://alliancealert.gametrademagazine. ... /1/72/1001
It's is listed as product number psi cb71019. No description of any kind. Might be a placeholder.

Re: Bree hardcover
They also mention the AIME Wilderland for the same time frame.

Re: Bree hardcover
Thanks! Yeah, there is frustratingly little information there. I wouldn't have thought that Bree would rate a hardcover volume of its own.Cleggster wrote:While I can't provide a direct link to the page since it's behind a retailer password, here is the link for the Alliance product alert. http://alliancealert.gametrademagazine. ... /1/72/1001

Bree + Shire and Western Eriador hardcover?
Of Finarfin's children I am the last. But my heart is still proud. What wrong did the golden house of Finarfin do that I should ask the pardon of the Valar, or be content with an isle in the sea whose native land was Aman the Blessed? Here I am mightier.

Together with the Barrow Downs (and some history of Cardolan), the Old Forest (and Tom Bombadil!), the Greenway and the Great East Road (with the Forsaken Inn?), Archet, Combe, Staddle, the Chetwood and the Midgewater Marshes, Buckland, the Weather Hills and of course The Prancing Pony it might fill a hardcover book even without the Shire (although I think the book will cover both regions similar to Erebor).Otaku-sempai wrote:I wouldn't have thought that Bree would rate a hardcover volume of its own.
Re: Bree hardcover
Oh, I so hope this true. I've been waiting for them to do this all along, and a source book for the Bree-land will rock.

Re: Bree hardcover
Perhaps, but I would think that the title focus would then be on The Shire rather than Bree (as in The Shire and Bree-land). There is sufficient coverage of the Barrow-downs and the Weather Hills (including Weathertop and the Midgewater Marshes) in the Rivendell supplement. However, we could use entries on the Old Forest and the Hills of Evendim, including notes on the ruins of Annúminas and Lake Evendim. And on the other side of The Shire we have the Tower Hills, East (should be West?) Lune, The Grey Havens and the Blue Mountains (I want something concrete on the Halls of the Dwarves and the Mines of the Dwarves dammit!)--to say nothing of Forlindon and Harlindon. Though if the book were to be that comprehensive, maybe the title should be a bit more expansive as well.Borri wrote:Together with the Barrow Downs (and some history of Cardolan), the Old Forest (and Tom Bombadil!), the Greenway and the Great East Road (with the Forsaken Inn?), Archet, Combe, Staddle, the Chetwood and the Midgewater Marshes, Buckland, the Weather Hills and of course The Prancing Pony it might fill a hardcover book even without the Shire (although I think the book will cover both regions similar to Erebor).

*shrug* The Rivendell book covers all of eastern Eriador...Otaku-sempai wrote:Though if the book were to be that comprehensive, maybe the title should be a bit more expansive as well.
