Alright, I'm willing to concede that if one of my characters is carrying one of the Rings of Power, they can be targeted by any creature. ;)
Adventure Summaries for my long-running group (currently playing through The Darkening of Mirkwood/Mirkwood Campaign), and the Tale of Years for a second, lower-level group (in the same campaign).

Well the AC specifically calls out Twice-Baked Honey Cakes as a potential magical boon from Beorn if he is a patron of the company. Based on that I'd say it could be done but maybe only apply to the first journey roll for everyone as opposed to every journey roll like the full-on Beorning version.
