I get Rivendell and why that is being released but I'd still like the focus to be on the areas in and around Wilderland - it's not been an oft covered area in previous RPGs so I'd like to see more on it.

Erebor
Dale and the Dalelands
The Iron Hills
The Grey Mountains
Moria

... etc.
Agree with this. I think we should move to Eriador when Rhovanion is done. I just can't see any southern lands getting released in near or far future.
Of Finarfin's children I am the last. But my heart is still proud. What wrong did the golden house of Finarfin do that I should ask the pardon of the Valar, or be content with an isle in the sea whose native land was Aman the Blessed? Here I am mightier.

I know nothing of licenses, but the rate of return by either party considering the amount of material released must be on the verge of zero. Or at least to be worth so little why bother...again not to be critical but at 1 release (or so) a year on average it just cannot be worth it.
Do you mean not worth it for Cubicle7 to produce or not worth it for players to purchase?

If you mean the former, Jon Hodgson has consistently said the line is secure and is one of their best sellers along with Doctor Who. If things have changed, I'd be surprised.

If you mean the latter, I for one am a very happy gamer because of The One Ring. Everything that has been released has been worth it to me. I've played many roleplaying games in my life, but I can honestly say that TOR is my all-time favorite. I love the combat system, the dice, and the action resolution mechanics. The skills are organized beautifully... I could go on and on and on.

That is really good to hear - I've come to the game recently and love it - but i was worried that the slow release schedule could have hurt it to the point that future releases were not commercially viable. It's so good to hear that that doesn't seem to be the case!

This makes me smile... I really like the game, and hope that as I have more chance to play it that it does grow into my favourite - it certainly feels like it should.

I would be happy just to get a name on the next product after the Rivendell, not a release date, no details or anything, I just wonder what it will be about.

I don't think that the release pace will hurt C7 as it is not unique to the TOR line. All other lines have the same issue (Nothing new for; Yggsdrasil in 2013, no word on Keltica, who knows when Liber Magica will be out for Victoriana, etc.) So, if the pace was hurting the bottom line for TOR it would certainly hurt the rest of the stable of games and thus C7, and there hasn't been any indication of that.

In 2013 did we only get the Heart of the Wild?

In actual physical form HotW was the only full supplement, yes. The screen and the small booklet on Lake Town also came out in 20313.

Also lake town, as pointed out.

HotW is a long running supplement, so the "only" bit is somewhat missleading.

Oh I thought the screen was released the previous year, my bad.
