Qualities and Enchanted Qualities?

I'm putting together the Treasure Index for some of the characters in our campaign, and one question popped up: can a Famous Weapon/Armour have both a regular Quality and an Enchanted Quality of the same type? For instance, can a sword have both Grievous and Superiour Grievous as two of its three Qualities?

They're both "unique", but not the same, right? :)

You cannot apply a Quality or Enchanted Quality to a Famous Weapon or Armour that share a common descriptor (page 97 of Rivendell). For example, a Grievous sword cannot be given the Superior Grievous Enchanted Quality. (That's actually literally the example in the book.)

Sorry.

Zed, you seriously beat me to it by seconds! I was just about to post this. I will add that the description for Superior Grievous also implies this by mentioning that the normal Grievous bonus should be used when a weapon of Númenórean craftsmanship is used against a non-Bane creature.

For Enchanted Weapons and Armors, what about replacing (somtimes) a Quality or an Enchanted Quality by a Trait ?

For exemple :
A helmet with top like crown who bestow Lordly.
A sword who bestow Fire-making (flame tongue)
etc.

What do you think about that ?

In the Erebor supplement it includes the ability to add Blessings to weapons and armour so traits definitely seem like fair game to me.
