I am anxious to learn more about those locations in the Blue Mountains, though, and the Elves of Mithlond.
Same here!

The Elves of the Grey Havens, plus the Corsairs of Umbar and the Gondorian Sailors will all come together as factions in a boardgame of Naval Battles.

Expect Sea-serpents (a.k.a. Fish-dragons) and Fastitocalons as Hazards.

I wouldn't doubt this, but we still need ports to use for those sea-voyage rules in Journeys & Maps.

Uh... I hope this can be used as a continuation to Tales from Wilderland.

SPOILER ALERT!!!

My PCs could not stop the Gibbet King nor the Dragon... so they are coming from the North. And I was hoping the Shadow could use these 2 forces to destroy Erebor and Dale... or even more...

Does anyone know if it is set during or after the Darkening of Mirkwood?

I don’t know when it will be set , but I have a feeling that it might carry on where Darkening left off and represent a few years in the early reign of King Bain. I wonder if the title might be metaphorical and that though there might be an actual Dragon in it, it’s more about the corrupting influence that Smaug has left behind and the effect that it has on the development of Dale and it’s relations with Erebor. The fact that the cover only shows the shadow of a dragon makes me wonder.

There’s a saying in Irish Republican circles that ‘our revenge will be the laughter of our children’. Could the title be a twisted play on that sentiment? Who knows(apart fromC7)? Food for thought?
