What Culture of Men is the best for the Scholar/Magician?

Men of Minas Tirith have access to the most raw knowledge and learning, and so would seem to be ideal.

I am assuming that coreyvw means a Player-hero for AiMe with the class of Scholar and the background of Magician, though it might be helpful to have a better notion of how he sees the character. The optional Folk Healer might suggest a very different culture such as Beorning, Dunlending or even a Hobbit.

For that matter, a Dunlending who has lived at Isengard might well have the background of Magician.

I'm not sure why the question is posted here and not in the AiMe forums; maybe it's meant for a home-brewed Magician for TOR?

Is this an AiME thing?... Otherwise, I'm super confused.

That is what I assumed; if so then the question would have better been posted in the AiMe forums. But perhaps the OP meant a home-brewed Magician for TOR (meaning this should have been asked in the House Rules forum).
