TOR survival guide

I was hoping that those experienced with TOR and gaming in general could help make a survival guide to Middle Earth. It could be narrative such as setting watch or mechanical such as warrior type starting out with 3d in a weapon skill.
Thanks,
SL

It's possible you haven't gotten any responses because it's not clear from your post what kind of help you are looking for. (I read it several times and I'm still confused; maybe that's just me.) Could you try again to explain it?

Nice idea, but if I'm following this correctly I really think these two things are distinct and different enough to be kept separate...

I think you could provide a guide to the challenges of each role within a journey and also mechanical elements to support those roles. If you check out my compilation of additional rules (
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/795 ... 0Rules.pdf), on pages 18 - 24 you'll find alternate journey rules and tasks which may provide you with a bit more information than you currently have and that you can use to add to your game.

Personally, and again if I'm understanding you correctly, I'd prefer this was handled separate as it's more of a player guide and there's already a thread here that you started:
viewtopic.php?f=7&t=864 ... Doesn't this do the trick?

Rich H. the additional rules where spot on for what I was thinking.
And, yes the other thread does suffice.
Thanks,
SL
